Manage Operations of Library Program

This internship will focus on in-person assistance with Aagaaz’s community library program, which entails facilitating library sessions with children at the learning center, managing book borrowing and lending, and assisting with organizing the library database. Additionally, the intern will be attending social media meetings and helping with ideation of social media posts.

1. Facilitate Sham ki Library sessions, which are conducted for 1 hour on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 5-6 pm. 2. Manage book borrowing and lending during library sessions. 3. Assist with organizing the library database: organize new books, add them to the database. 4. Categorize books into themes/genres and add them into the database. 5. 1. In office internship for two months (4 days a week) and 20-25 hours per week. 2. Fluency in Hindi and basic communication in English. 3. Interest in working hands-on with children, and in literature/reading. 4. Knowledge of basic research skills and MS office. 5.
