Social Media and Communications

The intern will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies across platforms like Instagram and LinkedIn. This includes scheduling posts, creating engaging content (text, images, and potentially short videos based on existing materials), interacting with followers, and analyzing social media performance. The intern will also assist in drafting communication materials.

1. Conduct a social media audit of Every Infant Matters' current presence (if any) and identify areas for improvement. 2. Develop a content calendar for Instagram and LinkedIn for a period of one month, focusing on key initiatives like vitamin distribution, anemia screening, gender equality, care at birth etc. 3. Create a 2 months online campaign idea with regular posts (with captions and relevant hashtags) across initiatives, utilizing content and photos available on the website and in the shared drive links. This should be done across social media platforms in the form of reels/knowledge bytes, infographics, photo stories/carousel post etc. 4. Research and suggest relevant social media trends and engagement strategies for NGOs in the health sector. May be tag some of those partners, organisations and start an online conversation. 5. Monitor social media accounts and track key metrics (e.g., followers growth, engagement rate) during the internship. 6. During internship, pick any one fundraising quest of the Infant Life Matters and fundraise using the existing or new communication material. 7. 1. Online internship (with 2-3 physical meetings in the beginning) internship for two months. 2. Candidate is expected to dedicate 15-20 hours per week. 3. You are expected to have a functional laptop of your own. 4. Good communication and writing skills in English is a must for this assignment. 5. Some design skills are preferred such as use of Canva etc. 6. You are expected to share your resume with all details including birthdate, phone number, email ID, college and any other projects/internships undertaken in the past.
