Communications Catalyst – Education & Leadership

Creatnet Education works at the intersection of teacher leadership, community learning, and systems transformation. As a Communications Catalyst – Education & Leadership, you will work closely with the Communicatons Lead to shape how our work is seen, understood, and experienced across digital platforms and community spaces. You will help build and sustain Creatnet’s communication ecosystem across social media, newsletters, WhatsApp outreach, stakeholder storytelling, and event documentation. From capturing the journey of an educational leader to amplifying collective impact across cities, your work will strengthen how our community connects, reflects, and grows. This is a paid internship of stipend 6K-12K per month.

Your Catalystic Blueprint: As a Communications Catalyst, you will help shape how Creatnet Education shows up in the world. 1. Build and manage a monthly content roadmap aligned with program milestones, campaigns, and community moments. 2. Draft, design, and schedule weekly posts across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) that reflect Creatnet’s voice and values. 3. Draft and format quarterly newsletters capturing stories, testimonials, program insights, and ecosystem highlights. 4. Support intentional WhatsApp outreach to teachers, facilitators, partners, and applicants to strengthen engagement and participation. 5. Coordinate the collection of stakeholder testimonials (teachers, facilitators, partners, funders) twice a quarter and maintain a well-organized digital archive of impact stories and media assets. 6. Perform basic video editing for reels, testimonials, and recap films to amplify program journeys. 7. Support event documentation through photography and short-form video capture. 8. Track engagement metrics and participate in fortnightly reflection meetings to review communication practices and refine strategy. 9. Contribute ideas to strengthen Creatnet’s digital narrative, storytelling formats, and community engagement approaches. This role blends creativity with systems thinking. You will not only create content but help build a communication ecosystem.

1. Hybrid, paid, full-time/part-time internship with 3 days in office, 2 days remote for 3–6 months, . 2. Strong writing and storytelling ability with clarity and emotional depth. 3. Basic video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, InShot work well; knowledge of Premiere Pro or other tools is a plus). 4. Comfortable designing on Canva (experience with other design software is a plus; digital illustration is a strong plus). 5. Interest in photography and visual documentation. 6. Interest in the education, leadership, or social impact space. 7. Previous internship experience in communications, media, or social sector work is a plus. 8. Open to recent graduates (preferred, as this is a full-time role) or final-year students with relevant experience.
