Communications and Community Outreach

This internship will focus on CEQUIN's on-ground initiatives 'Kickstart Equality' focussed on Sports Education and amplify their impact through effective communication and community engagement. The intern will work closely with the communications and sports team and field staff to document and analyse existing information (particularly raw videos) and share stories of change emerging from CEQUIN's sports project. The intern will also organise/ support the field team to organise monthly community events/ sports days/ matches/ grassroots tournaments with youth of the community, and bring innovation and passion to their engagement with young people.

1. Familiarize yourself with CEQUIN's mission, existing communication material and ongoing projects by reviewing the organization's website and any provided materials on Kickstart Equality 2. Collaborate with the communications team and create an outline of capturing sports coaches/trainers’ journey of working in communities. 3. Work closely with field staff to gain firsthand insights into the community initiatives and identify compelling voices of change from Kickstart Equality 4. Create a series of 10-15 short videos/reels on the above collected stories. 5. Research on and Create/record some visual learning aid which will be useful for students to learn while practice sessions ( For eg How to dribble the ball/ how to have better ball control) 6. Support the team or lead organising community events, particularly sports events with the field team to drive youth engagement. 7. During internship, pick any one fundraising quest of CEQUIN and fundraise using the existing or new communication material. 1. Hybrid full time internship for two months. 2. you are expected to dedicate 15-20 hours per week. 3. You are expected to have a functional laptop of your own. 4. Excellent communication and writing skills (in English) and basic video editing skills is a must for this assignment. 5. You are expected to share your resume with all details including birthdate, phone number, email ID, college and any other projects/internships undertaken in the past.
