Grant Writing and Research

The intern will research potential small grants and funding opportunities relevant to Every Infant Matters' focus on infant malnutrition, blindness prevention, gender equality, low birth weight babies, preventing stigma and discrimination on infants etc.. This will involve reviewing grant databases, understanding eligibility criteria, and assisting in drafting compelling proposals and filling out application forms.

1. Research at least 5 potential small grant opportunities (national or international) that align with Every Infant Matters' mission and current projects. Provide a brief summary of each grant, including the funding organization, focus areas, eligibility criteria, and application deadlines. 2. Review the information available on the Every Infant Matters website and the project details in the shared drive links to understand the organization's needs and impact. 3. Draft concept note or a section of a grant proposal (e.g., problem statement or project description) for one of the identified grant opportunities, highlighting Every Infant Matters' work and its potential impact. 4. Assist in gathering necessary information and documentation required for grant applications. 5. Create a database of fellowships and grants that the organisation could apply for in the near future. 6. During internship, pick any one fundraising quest of the Infant Life Matters and fundraise using the existing or new communication material. 7. 1. Online internship (with 2-3 physical meetings in the beginning) internship for two months. 2. Candidate is expected to dedicate 15-20 hours per week. 3. You are expected to have a functional laptop of your own. 4. Good communication and writing skills in Hindi and English is a must for this assignment. 5. You are expected to share your resume with all details including birthdate, phone number, email ID, college and any other projects/internships undertaken in the past.
