Community Outreach and teaching

This intern's main goal would be to do community outreach, run camps, session planning, teach students of grades 3-5 for 2 hours every day, conduct Parents Teachers meeting on Saturdays with parents, make resources for summer camp, track student attendance, attend weekly calls for reflection and learning with Saajha team.

1. The intern will first visit the field site and meet students and parents. 2. He or she will prepare session plans and present his or her strategy to the team and get feedback. 3. During internship, pick any one fundraising quest of Saajha and fundraise using the existing or new communication material. Resources: https://www.saajha.org/

1. On field internship for 6-8 weeks.. 2. Candidate is expected to dedicate 18-20 hours per week. 3. Good communication and writing skills in basic English and Hindi. 4. Interest in talking to people from varied backgrounds. 5. Interest in being with children, teaching and community outreach work. 6. You are expected to share your resume with all details including birthdate, phone number, email ID, college and any other projects/internships undertaken in the past.
