Non-Governmental Organization
Badlav is a non-profit social enterprise established in 2015 that works to rehabilitate individuals engaged in begging—one of the most marginalized communities in India. It focuses on restoring dignity through skill development, education, and livelihood opportunities, enabling beneficiaries to become self-reliant. Using a holistic, community-driven approach, Badlav provides vocational training, psychosocial support, and educational access for children and adolescents. It also collaborates with government and stakeholders to scale impact and influence policy. Through its efforts, Badlav has helped hundreds transition away from begging toward stable, dignified, and inclusive lives.
