Non-Governmental Organization
Maharashtra
Sampoorna Shiksha, registered as Gyaandaan Foundation, was founded in 2020 by Lata Srinivasan and Pushpa Subramanian, the “Twin Educators”, with a simple belief: The Best of Wealth is Education. Working closely with government schools, Anganwadis, learning centres, and rural communities, Sampoorna Shiksha designs education interventions that respond directly to classroom realities. Its work is grounded in the understanding that meaningful learning requires more than infrastructure—it requires engagement, relevance, and trust. Over the years, Sampoorna Shiksha has implemented learning programmes across multiple states, reaching thousands of children through interventions that are low-cost, scalable, and deeply experiential. The organisation’s strength lies in its ability to translate educational philosophy into everyday classroom practice. All interventions are aligned with India’s National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, particularly its emphasis on play-based learning, foundational literacy and numeracy, holistic child development, and continuous teacher capacity building. Our Vision: Educate India’s less privileged through innovative and low cost models. Our Mission: To serve at the grassroots and enable people to reach their potentials and fulfill their dreams through educational initiatives. To bridge the gap in education among the rural , backward and the urban schools.
