This internship offers a unique opportunity to directly engage with and support young individuals through mentoring and academic assistance within CEQUIN's youth development programs. The intern will contribute to fostering positive relationships with youth, providing guidance, and supporting their educational progress. They could mentor students and offer remedial classes for academic support in school, english speaking, support older youth to be 'job ready' by preparing them for internships/ interviews etc, they could use creative tools to engage them like films, art, media, music, theatre.

This internship will focus on CEQUIN's on-ground initiatives 'Kickstart Equality' focussed on Sports Education and amplify their impact through effective communication and community engagement. The intern will work closely with the communications and sports team and field staff to document and analyse existing information (particularly raw videos) and share stories of change emerging from CEQUIN's sports project. The intern will also organise/ support the field team to organise monthly community events/ sports days/ matches/ grassroots tournaments with youth of the community, and bring innovation and passion to their engagement with young people.

The intern will work closely with the communications team and field staff to document and analyse existing information (particularly raw videos and change stories) and share stories of change emerging from CEQUIN's community-based projects - with a focus on Kickstart Equality ( football for girls programme), Mardon Wali Baat ( men & Boys) and Mahila Panchayat ( Women's collectives & leadership) on their social media and digital platforms ( Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, LInkedin)
