A Nationwide Youth-Led Winter Collection Drive in Partnership with Goonj
Transforming winter from a "preventable disaster" into a season of warmth and dignity through mindful giving and circularity.
🏔️ The Mission
Every winter, thousands suffer due to the lack of basic clothing. We are inviting students, housing societies, and corporate teams across India to turn their compassion into action. This isn't just a collection drive; it's a challenge to see which city can provide the most "warmth" while practicing sustainable, mindful giving.
Campaign Duration: Jan 1st 2026 – Jan 31st 2026
Target Cities: Delhi/NCR, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi, Dehradun, Patna, Bhubaneswar, Rishikesh.
🏆 The Challenge Tasks
1. Gather Your Tribe
Form a team of 5–15 members (friends, schoolmates, or neighbors) and register on the VAll platform.
2. Mindful Collection
Collect woolens (sweaters, blankets, shawls, jackets, socks, caps) ensuring they are Washed, Usable, and Segregated.
3. Scale the Reach
Boost your impact by spreading awareness on winter as a disaster and the need to contribute.
4. The Drop-Off
Bring your collected material to the nearest designated Goonj Processing Center for logging. Click pictures of submission and upload on VAll as well.
🟢 What to Give vs. What to Avoid
✅ YES (Clean & Usable):
- • Blankets and Quilts
- • Sweaters, Jackets, and Coats
- • Woolen Shawls, Caps, and Gloves
- • Clean Cotton Sarees (Bonus Points!)
- • School Bags and Stationery
❌ NO (Please Avoid):
- • Tattered or torn clothes
- • Soiled/unwashed items
- • Undergarments
- • Single shoes (only pairs allowed)

Launch Your "Warmth Quest": Click "Create Quest" and give it a catchy name (e.g., "Team WarmHearts Delhi"). Use trending tags like #OdhaDoZindagi and upload a high-energy cover photo of your team.
Pro-Tip: Use a photo of your team holding a "Contribution Start" sign to grab attention!
- 3Build Your Squad: Invite your friends, family, or colleagues to join your digital quest. The bigger the team, the bigger the impact.

Document the Journey (Weekly Updates):
Keep your quest alive! Every week, upload your progress. We love seeing:
- • Reels/Videos: Behind-the-scenes of your collection drive.
- • Snapshots: Photos of your "Mindful Sorting" sessions.
- • Impact Notes: Brief stories about the community members who contributed.
- 5The Final Drop & Submission: Drop your collected items at the designated Goonj Center by 31st January 2026. Upload your final weight receipt and 'mission accomplished' photo to your quest before clicking Submit.
- 6Verification and Certification: The VAll and Goonj internal teams will review your updates, verify the weights, and check the quality of your mindful giving (cleanliness and segregation) before releasing certificates.
